North Jutland receives a new tourist attraction next year when V&S opens a new visiting centre in the distillery of Aalborg. The visitors will be given the opportunity to discover the art of producing aquavit and bitter.

The secret recipe of the V&S products Gammel Dansk and Aalborg Akvavit will though not be revealed, however the visitors will be offered a glimpse behind the scenes in the one and only Danish distillery.

20 000 annual visitors expected
The expectations are that the visiting centre will welcome more than 20 000 visitors each year. The visitors will be offered an informative experience which also includes a sightseeing tour at the distillery with either a Danish, English or German speaking guide. The tour will be concluded with a taste of V&S products and the visitors will also be given the opportunity to buy special samples.

The new visiting centre is planned to be opened in October 2007.
